Conkers at the World Conker Championships in Ashton, at the 40th annual World Conker Championships. More than 500 people from 13 nations battle for the men's, women's and team titles. They use 2,283 horse chestnuts painstakingly collected, drilled and strung by officials from Ashton Conker Club.
